About Us

The STXPSA was created to professionalize and elevate the level of local amateur and youth soccer, as well as give Valley players exposure to the professional ranks, pro and university scouts, and provide a safe and fun environment for players, families and the community.

Founded in 2009, the Association established the first U-20 League in the Rio Grande Valley and in May 2011 continued to bring unique categories to the area with the creation and debut of the 18-and-Under Summer League.

The U-20 and 18-and-Under Leagues fill a gap in the continuing development of youth and amateur players under the age of 20 in the RGV.
